A pachometer is a medical device used to measure the thickness of the cornea. As part of our evaluation for glaucoma at Valentine Eye Care, we may use a device called the Sonogage Corneo-Gage Plus™ to obtain a painless computerized measurement of the thickness of the cornea. -
An Optical Coherence Tomography scan (commonly referred to as an OCT scan) is the latest advancement in imaging technology that performed in about 10 minutes right in our office. -
A visual field test measures the range of your peripheral or “side” vision to assess whether you have any blind spots (scotomas), peripheral vision loss, or visual field abnormalities.
